On the first day of class, there will be one thing that you will try to get across to your students…What a day of learning should look like in your class. In order to get this point across, you must cover your expectations, daily procedures, classroom rules and more. Check out my 1st day presentation below which can be edited any way you like.
I also like to have a daily agenda displayed daily so my students and anyone entering knows what we will be working on for the day. I usually display my agenda on my overhead projector. This year I plan on using it with my Promethean board and making it a little more interactive (Will share at a later date!) In the mean time, here is a picture of what it will look like.
